Winter

Winter has arrived, snow is imminent, good times are ahead. I've been snowboarding for 9 years and each season I seem to get more pumped leading up to opening day, '08 being no exception. I would be wasting my time trying to describe what it's like ripping up a trail of loose powder, weaving between kooks at thrice their speed and hitting every piece of natural terrain I can find before I reach the chair to do it all over again, so I won't bother. All I'll say is Winter rocks the fuck out and I can't wait to get my freak on. And for any of you other riders reading this, remember: it's now about what you do, it's about how good you look doing it, don't be embarassing yourselves out there.

NB: If you're down for some totally righteous videos, hit up 'isenseven' on youtube and prepare for mucho entertainmento.
Alice In Videoland

Yeahhh boyyy!..or girl. Recently I've been expanding my musical horizons aggressively, constantly looking for interesting new stuff from any genre or culture. I've had a lot of luck with music from Scandinavia in the past, and Alice In Videoland are no exception. Awesomely enough I found them through my favourite snowboarding movie makers, the guys at Isenseven, check them out, anywho, AIV cover electroclash/ pop/ punk and of course rock, all in one tight package. A lot of people won't be down with the high energy melodies and funky female Scandinavian vocals, and my hearts bleed for you, this music is so much fun to listen to! Plus the lead singer is fine. Check them out now, do it, do it now.

NB: Like all bands I love, they have songs I'm not to keen on, to avoid disappointment I recommend 'Numb', 'Cut The Crap' and 'Radio Song' :)!
Ronald Jenkees

This dude is an absolute maestro! Within 10 seconds of hearing one of his WIP tracks I knew he was something special. Ronald knows how to drop a beat, and loves to mix it up, most of his creations come on the fly while he experiments with rythm and different instruments on his keyboard. In the last 4 months he has been beaten by the giant fist of intensive internet exposure and it only shows signs of picking up momentum. Me along with thousands of others purchased up his older CD after hearing his WIPs on youtube out of sheer amazement and respect. The new CD everyone is chomping at the bit for is out around August. I strongly suggest checking out the links below.

NB: His most recent 3 or 4 vids are by far the sickest, check out 'messin with a guitar sound' and 'disorganized fun', enjoy.
